Awards for The Old Tannery

As many know Glovers operate from a self developed mill, located in Accrington, Lancashire. The Old Tannery started life as a 19th century tannery that prepared animal skins for the leather industry all over the North West of England.In 2003 Glovers identified its potential for redevelopment into premium office space and acquired the building with this objective. The results speak for themselves.
As we are so proud of our new and modern office space we entered The Old Tannery into the prestigious RICS Awards and The Green Apple Awards 2006.
Glovers are delighted to announce that we have won a Green Apple Award which we will formally receive at a ceremony in May at a London venue, yet to be announced. The RICS has short listed The Old Tannery under the Commercial category for the North West. Representatives from the panel of judges have been to survey the building and we await the results of the next stage.
